Coaching is designed to help athletes develop practical mental performance skills including areas such as confidence, focus, pressure, mindset, discipline, routines, preparation and consistency.
The content on this website is provided for general informational and educational purposes.
I make reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and up to date, but website content may occasionally become outdated or contain errors.
Nothing on this website should be treated as medical, psychological or other healthcare advice.
Mental performance coaching is not therapy, counselling, medical treatment or mental health treatment.

Mental performance coaching is intended to support sporting performance and personal development. It is not a replacement for appropriate professional healthcare.
1 to 1 coaching provides personalised guidance, education, practical tools, support and accountability to help athletes develop their mental performance.
Every athlete and sporting situation is different. No particular sporting result, performance improvement, selection outcome or other result can be guaranteed.
Athletes remain responsible for their own decisions, actions and how they apply coaching tools within their sport.
Where you enter into paid coaching, your coaching relationship will also be governed by the separate coaching agreement and any payment, cancellation and service terms provided to you before coaching begins.
UK consumer law requires paid services to be provided with reasonable care and skill, and consumer rights cannot simply be removed through contract wording.
I may work with athletes under the age of 18 where appropriate.
A parent or guardian will be involved in the joining process and relevant consent and safeguarding requirements will apply before coaching begins.
Unless otherwise stated, the content and materials created by Alex Smart Coach remain the intellectual property of Alex Smart.
This includes website content, branding, logos, the Performance Playbook, coaching tools, worksheets, assessments, downloads, documents, graphics and other coaching resources.
These materials are provided for your personal use only.
They may not be copied, reproduced, sold, distributed, published, modified or used commercially without prior written permission.
